  • Review Overseas Security Policy Board (OSPB) standards and DNI policy to ensure appropriate protections for national security information, based on current technologies, capabilities and conditions.

  • Formulate, evaluate, and develop policy that will ensure the protection of national security information.

  • Conduct reviews of charters, public laws, directives and other official statues in support of standards development and implementation.

  • Prepare and coordinate position papers and policy documentation for CSE senior management.

  • Provide high level briefings to CSE managers on issues relating to security standards and policies.
