Job Description
Perform the full range of work involved with technical inspections, maintenance, and repair of small arms. Must be able to make initial diagnosis and locate mechnical deficiencies of small arms. Must be able to troubleshoot and order parts for the repair of small arms. Must be able to read, understand, and perform the processes and reports in FLMS/SAMS IE maintenance management systems. Must observe all interpret Army Regulation 190-13 and Army Regulation 190-51. Must be knowledgeable of the federal, state, local, Army and Army Reserve policies and procedures for the transportation and shipment of small arms. Must prepare, perform, and maintain property accountability and inventory forms and reports for weapons requirement.
Qualifications
-Must have favorable local brackground check
-Must have favorable National Agency Check (NAC)
-Must meet the qualifications to posses firearms IAW the Gun Control Act of 1968 and all amendments (18 U.S.C. 922) and Department of Defense policy expanding the prohibitions contained in Title 18 Section 922 (g)(9) to include military or civilian personnel who have felony convictions for crimes of domestic violence
-Required to complete DD Form 2760, Qualification to Possess Firearms or Ammunition
