Security Supervisor

Location: US - NY - New York City
Position Summary:
Ensure the safety of hotel guests and employees within this times
square 200 room property. Preserve and safeguard all hotel
property and interests. Manage and supervise all staff members.
Ensuring weekly payroll for Security department is accurate and
complete. Implement and enforce hotel policies and standards.
Perform investigations concerning theft, accident and employee
related issues. Coordinate with insurance company for claims
process. Insure compliance with O.S.H.A. and FDNY rules and
regulations. Assist with customer relations and guest issues.
Organize and handle the Hotel's compliance with the NY State
Security Guard Act. Write weekly schedules and train new
employees. Work with the NYPD and FDNY in matters concerning
the Hotel. Responsibilities also include safeguarding valuable
merchandise. Conduct random safety inspections throughout the
building. Conduct covert surveillance and internal investigations.
Assist with internal investigation involving various Law
Enforcement agencies. Limit and reduce Hotel liability and litigation
exposure.
Required Skills & Experience:
Ideally with a professional diploma or certificate in Safety and
Security. Minimum 2 years work experience as Security
Supervisor Manager in a hotel operation. Good practical,
operational and administrative skills.
FSD license is required...
