Someone who can help build an effective security team and be an integral member of the management team, providing expertise and direction of all aspects of the safety and security activities in line with the overall business strategy.
Our ideal candidate will have their certification in safety and training and/or licensed as a security officer or Law Enforcement Officer. Working knowledge of local laws, investigation methods, and OSHA requirements. They must demonstrate the ability to execute their security standards and match them to the developer’s vision for the resort while following a solid business plan to meet financial obligations. Prior opening experience is a big plus. Certainly, experience with a complex resort is very important with a well-rounded skill set and an aptitude for security.

The resort is at the critical stage in the pre-opening process. We’re looking for a great Security Manager who is an experienced proven leader that can hit the ground running; ready to roll up their sleeves and prepare the resort for a successful opening.
Especially important at this time is the selection and hiring of an elite team of hospitality professionals. This is a golden opportunity for a leader to surround him or herself with the "best of the best" in top hospitality talent and potentially bring with them their greatest hospitality security team.
Relocation to the immediate area is critical for this passion filled hospitality manager who will be the "face" of the security detail at Streamsong.

Streamsong is located on a 16,000-acre site in Polk County, Fla., between Tampa and Orlando. Specifically, the resort location is approximately five miles west of the town of Ft. Meade, near the Polk-Hardee County line on the south, Fort Green Road to the west, State Road 630 West along most of the northern perimeter, and District Line Road along most of the eastern boundary.
The resort will open in two phases. The golf courses, the golf clubhouse and its associated meeting and dining facilities opened in December 2012. The main lodge, conference center and all other resort amenities are expected to begin welcoming guests in January 2014.
Streamsong Resort will include 216 guest rooms in the resort’s main lodge; 12 guest rooms in the golf course clubhouse; approximately 18,500 total square feet of meeting space; two 18-hole golf courses designed by renowned architects, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw of Coore & Crenshaw and Tom Doak of Renaissance Golf Design; three restaurants and two lounge areas; a full-service spa; a lakeside swimming pool; unparalleled Florida bass fishing and other outdoor activities such as birding, hiking and nature trails, and sporting clays.
