**THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION**
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Corporate Security Office. Works on assignments that are simple in nature. Judgment and initiative are required in performing simple security functions.

Major Job Duties
1. Processes and maintains security background investigations for employees assigned (75%)
2. Processes incoming and outgoing visit access letters and visitor requests (1%)
3. Prepares letters, memorandums, reports and other materials from rough drafts which involve the use technical terminology (1%)
4. Researches and compiles information on current and future projects/programs for the organization (2%)
5. Handles all routine inquiries made by internal and external customers and employees (5%)

6. Assists with routine and nonroutine administrative requirements on project/program related efforts (1%)
7. Follows up on correspondence from both internal and external customers requiring review, approval and/or response (5%)
8. Acts as an information source on organization policies and procedures (1%)
9. Coordinates meetings and presentation materials (1%)
10. Makes appointments and travel reservations/arrangements and prepares expense reports (1%)
11. Supports Receptionist with relief/breaks (1%)
12. Performs security functions to include: badges issuance for employees; updating data security databases; creating employee security records (5%)
13. Performs other related duties as required (1%)

Material and Equipment Directly Used:
Electrical Pulverizer, laminator, fax machines, copiers, S2 entry control system, SIMS, Microsoft Office products and other general office equipment. Data Processing: Computer and peripheral devices.

Working Environment:
Generally works in an office environment, may on occasion be exposed to hazards while conducting safety/security inspections. Travel to remote locations that ITT is located is required. Long air travel time to the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe and Far East Asia to visit operating locations in that region may be required. Be able to travel on short notice to respond to emergency situations at other operating sites.

Physical Activities
Must be able to lift/push/pull 25 lbs.
Position requires continuous sitting and customer contact.
Eyestrain & repetitive motion involved during peak periods of data entry.

Minimum Qualifications
Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
High School graduate
Must be a US citizen

Experience:
One (1) year industrial security administrative experience

Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Works well in a team environment
Ability to multi-task
Superior data entry skills
Clearance Level Required at Start Date Secret
Work Status Temporary
