Basic Function:
This position is responsible for contributing, establishing and providing effective physical risk management, protection, safety and related security strategies, programs and other risk management services to various HCSC executives; to include significant business functions, events and during critical business related travel. The Director will assist in the development, building and management of a comprehensive corporate protection and security program creating effective policies using applicable measures and best known practices. The Director will also be responsible for planning and preparing the departmental operating budget and achieving operational effectiveness for all areas of responsibility.
Job Requirements:
*Bachelors Degree
*15 years of law enforcement experience, including personal protection/private security assignments
*3-5 years of management or supervisory experience
*Organizational and leadership skills specific to security operations and sensitive investigations
*Experience in dealing with all levels of law enforcement.
*Retired in good standing from prior law enforcement agency
*Investigative, administrative and decision-making skills.
*Verbal and written communication skills.
*Travel as necessary with overnight stays
