Job Summary
1. Executes the proper actions on incoming and outgoing classified documents including classification/declassification, downgrading, safeguarding, access, disposition, reproduction, accountability, dissemination and destruction.
2. Processes employees for security clearances. Compiles and records personnel data about
employees, contractors and consultants; obtains and verifies information such as name, date of birth, citizenship, physical description and type of security clearance. Photographs and fingerprints employees and prepares and issues badges and identification of courier cards. Keeps records of badges issued, lost and reissued. Prepares security forms for terminating employees.
3. Coordinates Department of Defense security inspections. May conduct mid cycle self inspections. Identifies security violations and discrepancies.
4. Handles all procedures and policies regarding visitor control within facility according to Industrial Security Manual regulations. Forwards outgoing visit request authorizations and processes incoming visit requests.
5. Presents security briefings according to Company and Department of Defense regulations. May write and presents additional security briefings and security education material for cleared employees.
6. Oversees physical plant security. Issues and controls key distribution or access control system for facility.
7. May perform duties of Systems Security Officer at facilities having cleared automated information system.
8. Coordinates security matters with Department of Defense representatives and other security personnel. Executes and distributes required security forms. Maintains security files and computer data bases.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience & Required Skills:
Reading and following plannings, reports, prints, drawings, or other instructions. • Entry of data, product status, and/ or time into computer systems. • Performance of work in adherence to ESH regulations and Company policies • Following plannings, perform basic hand assembly of high power assemblies.
