Box is building a physical security team to match its fast-paced, exciting information security program. We are seeking a specialist with guard management experience to provide structure and guidance to the many physical security responsibilities of Box's campus. As Guard Supervisor, you will tailor Box's guard presence to the needs of its facilities, and serve as an interface between Box's security policy and its execution on the ground. You will develop and provide training to Box's guard staff and be the first escalation point for physical security issues.
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise Box facility guard staff
Design and maintain guard schedules to meet Box's physical security needs
Establish, maintain, and deliver guard training program
Collect and process incident reportsAssist in development of security policies and procedures
Assist local law enforcement authorities in relevant investigations
Assist in Box emergency management drills and events
Perform duties of a guard as necessary
Requirements:
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Ability to traverse stairs, ramps, and ladders
Experience as a security guard or manager of guards
Experience with computerized access management systems desired
Experience with digital camera monitoring and recording systems desired
