We are currently seeking a Security Supervisor for our Edumex facility in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. The successful candidate will lead and coordinate the Edumex security team, and will maintain and improve the security services for the company. The Security Supervisor will also lead all security efforts and develop security programs for each building with input from the Edumex staff and assigned Corporate Security Representative.
To be successful in this role, a candidate must possess strong leadership and excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be fluent in Spanish.
The key responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Supervision of a large security staff comprised of 40 individuals
- Develop security improvement strategies and lead teams to execute improvements
- Ability to respond and provide security consulting with employees
- Understanding of the appropriate strategies and uses of electronic security systems and equipment
- Coordinate and/or handle all emergency situations with immediate and appropriate response in a calm and focused manner

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum five years of experience as a security and/or law enforcement professional
- Minimum three years of experience in a leadership role such as a supervisor and/or project manager
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Security, Law Enforcement or Engineering
- Minimum five years of experience in a leadership role within a corporate security and/or law enforcement environment
- Knowledge of CTPAT
- Knowledge of security technology and practices
- Proactive and a strong commitment to maintaining a strong security program
- Ability to develop relationship and liaison with US and Mexican authorities
