RMGS, Inc., is seeking Tactical Ground Mobility Instructors to support the Naval Special Warfare Group 2 (NSWG-2) Training Detachment (TRADET-2) in Virginia Beach, VA. Periodic travel will be from Virginia Beach, VA to (but not limited to) Fort Knox, KY; Fort Chaffee, AR; Key West, FL; NAS Fallon, NV; Hawthorne Army Depot, NV; Walls, MS; Coronado, CA;
Fort Pickett, VA; Fort A. P. Hill, VA; Louisville, KY. Estimated start date is not earlier than 1 April 2013. All candidates must have a minimum of an active Secret Security clearance.
Tactical Ground Mobility instructor support covers the administrative and instructional tasks allocated to the Contractor who is assigned to the Mobility Division of NSWG-2 TRADET. In general, the task is to assist as a RSO and assist in the instruction, operational and logistical support of Tactical Ground Mobility (TGM) Operations. Duties and responsibilities:
• Coordinate with NSWG-2 TRADET Mobility Division OIC or Mobility Troop Commander.
• Competent and able to instruct TGM TTP to include:
o Mounted patrolling
o Vehicle patrolling
o Dismounted and vehicle immediate action drills
o Blocking force implementation
o Vehicle insertion/extraction.
• Proficient in the operations of all FOSOV and TGM vehicles including MRAP, M-ATV, HMMWV, LTATV. MX, and Non-Standard vehicles, as well as instruct pre- and post-operations and recovery techniques.
• Adept in the instruction and supervision of static and dynamic ranges consisting of Heavy Weapons Familiarization and IADs.
• Working knowledge of NSW Unit Level Training Schedule, and specific evolutions and procedures at the training site.
• Working knowledge of Unit Level Training support process and procedures.
• Update individual training records.
• Working knowledge of NSW missions, TGM TTP, training requirements, Mission Essential Tasks, and TGM Site procedures.
• Coordinate and organize role players for full mission profile and field training exercises.
• Draft messages; maintain file of all.
• Update individual training records.
• Liaise with Operations Departments from all NSWG-2 commands WRT training schedules and equipment and personnel shortfalls.
• Perform other tasks as may be required.
Assigned personnel shall be:
• Former U.S. Navy SEAL or applicable warfare specialty, prior off-road driving experience, previous law enforcement employment, or military service in SOF.
• Qualified as Static and Dynamic RSO, Laser RSO, Demolition RSO (desired).
