Position Description
Summary: Harkcon, Inc. continues to grow its International and Maritime Training Division and is seeking an experienced professional who is a self-starter to deliver strategic projects to a wide base of public and private sector clients.Essential Functions:

Manages all aspects of Harkcon’s Maritime and International Training program and:
• Liaises with government and private sector clients as directed; serves as the Company’s direct representative to existing and prospective maritime security and international training representatives, prime contractors and clients.
• Identifies clients’ met and unmet needs and develops a long-term business strategy and roadmap for the development and deployment of the Company’s maritime security and international training products and services
• Coordinates all aspects of international training projects, including identification of analysts and instructors, travel, export compliance (per direction of the Export Compliance Officer), Defense Base Act (DBA) insurance, MEDEVAC Insurance, etc.
• Conducts training analysis and assessment activities, designs and develops training.
• Serves as lead instructor. Coordinates classroom preparation, delivers training, administers pre/post knowledge surveys or skills evaluations, summarizes results, and drafts end of course review and/or after action reports.
• Assigns, schedules, and reviews work of subordinates.
• Serve as subject matter expert for maritime security consultancies; develop doctrine to include national level strategies

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills and proficient with Microsoft Office suite to include Word, Power Point, and Excel. Microsoft Project experience desired.

Additional Responsibilities:
Capable of senior official meeting facilitation
Assist in the development of company-related documents, letters, and communications.
Assist with process- and performance-improvement analyses on Company programs & policies.
Research and report on various corporate, organizational or administrative “best practices” of interest to the Company.
Assist with business development efforts including, but not limited to, conducting research and drafting project proposals.
Assist in the development of promotional-, marketing-, and communications-related materials (e.g., press releases, newsletters, brochures, flysheets, articles, mailings, etc.).
Complete other tasks as directed by supervisor.

Degree: Any Masters Degree (preferably in administration or training related field)

Years Experience: 25+; military experience with maritime background highly desirable; command experience and strategic planning a must

Required Training: Boat Forces, Maritime Law Enforcement, Antiterrorism/Force Protection, Federal On Scene Coordinator, Incident Command System (ICS), Maritime Security, Threat Assessments, Port Security Assessments and Planning, Systems Engineering

Work Environment: Work is to be performed virtually from home office utilizing web-based file sharing sites and company provided e-mail/intranet services.

Travel Required: 50% or higher; international travel for extended periods may be required
