Description The Contractor shall function as the Director of the Radar Program Office and will be the POC for all ACC CD/CNT radar activities in Colombia. The Contractor will be ACC’s forward liaison in Colombia for the radar program. Responsibilities include providing support and execution of approximately a $150K annual budget and overseeing an office with 2+ other contract employees.
Position Requirements
5 years experience working in Colombia with the Colombian Air Force, US Embassy agencies, and US Military Group to Colombia in the areas of CD/CNT surveillance, command and control, communications and logistics support.
Must possess experience working with ACC and SPOs in the development, implementation, and support of systems in the CD/CNT arena in Colombia.
Provide experience in the development, review, and update of databases to control logistics flow of radar materials and equipment.
Experience and knowledge of the nationalization of parts and materials entering Colombia in accordance with Bi-National Radar Program Memorandum of Understanding.
Experience coordinating in-country logistics movements of material and personnel to assure compliance with American Embassy/MILGP/FAC directives and meet mission needs.
Experienced in the identification, evaluation, and definition of shortfalls in the administrative and logistics process during the implementation, life and transition of surveillance and C2 programs in Colombia.
Experience working at the USAF Mission to Colombia in Bogotá, Colombia and providing assistance and support to the USAF Mission Chief in logistics support for surveillance, communications, and command and control systems.
As this position is in Colombia, if a Colombian national is utilized, the Colombian Military equivalent of a Secret security clearance is required. If a US citizen is utilized, a US Secret clearance is required. Clearance must be maintained throughout PWS performance. Bachelor’s Degree in a technical, financial, or management discipline is required. A working knowledge of Colombian Contracting and Customs laws and procedures and financial analyses is required. Fluency in English and Spanish and good writing skills in both are required.
Primary work location will be US Military Group (USMILGRP) (USG facility), AF Mission, Bogotá, Colombia with infrequent travel required to various CONUS locations and Colombian radar sites. Office space will be coordinated by HQ ACC/A3OH.
