Construction Surveillance Technician/ Clear American Guard – 12 Month Assignment (Seoul, Korea)
Position Requirements
Possess Top Secret clearance active, in place.
Able to relocate to Korea for up to 12 months
Have completed Dept of State CAG/CST training certification (required)
Position Description
The selected candidate will be assigned to various construction projects assuring the security integrity of sites, materials, buildings, and controlled areas will inspect pre-installation construction materials, equipment and furnishings and identify construction security vulnerabilities requires you to observe the construction process, and recognize any abnormalities that could affect the security of the project.
They will monitor employee activities to prevent the implantation of clandestine devices or systems into the structure being constructed.
They may be required to X-ray and inspect materials, equipment and furnishings to identify and report potential security breaches that may arise. In addition, they may be required to assist in the random selection of materials to be inspected for use on the construction site.
Qualifications
-Qualified candidates need to have 3-5 years of experience in one of the following areas:
-Construction security surveillance, technical surveillance countermeasures, industrial or government security involving counterintelligence, construction quality assurance, and hands-on supervisory construction experience.
-Must be able to read and interpret blue prints, plans and schematics and have experience in the building trades industry.
-Maintain daily logs and produce detailed written reports, analyses of problems, findings and security situations that require staff actions.
-Knowledge of technical security devices and systems CCTV’s and other monitoring devices.
-Must be able to work independently in a deadline-oriented environment.
-Must be able and willing to work in inclement conditions.
-Must be in good health and have the ability stand/walk for extended periods.
