Counter-IED/Asymmetric Warfare Trainer-01131741
Key Role:
Serve as a counter-improvised explosive device (C-IED) and asymmetric warfare (AW) training developer and integrator and support the client mission at a training center. Ensure unity of command in support of training readiness authority (TRA) by developing individual and collective C-IED/AW training strategies and incorporating multiple assets. Coordinate with garrison and state activities to improve C-IED/AW training facilities, ranges, and training aids, devices,
simulators and simulations (TADSS). Assess, update, and deliver C-IED/AW training and associated products and execute specialized C-IED/AW education and training for attack the network (AtN), electronic warfare (EW), biometrics, homemade explosives (HME), site exploitation, and route clearance. Coordinate with commanders and assist units with the planning of virtual and live C-IED/AW training. Synchronize arrival, sustainment, and prioritization for standard and non-standard C-IED/AW equipment and training resources. Assist with planning virtual and live C-IED/AW training across multiple sites and provide continuity and expertise that enable awareness and effective use of assets to support C-IED/AW training. This position is located at Marseilles Training Center in Marseilles, IL.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with the US Army
-2+ years of experience with the counter-improvised explosive device field
-Experience with deployment to Afghanistan or Iraq
-Secret clearance
-AA or AS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with Army National Guard or First Army
-Experience with training
-Experience with Electronic Warfare (EW)
-Experience with biometrics
-Experience with site exploitation, including search and engineer route clearance operations
-Experience with counter-IED operations integration center (COIC)
-BA or BS degree
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
