Job Description
RMGS, Inc., is seeking nine (9) Instructors to support the Naval Special Warfare Group 2 (NSWG-2) Training Detachment (TRADET-2) in Virginia Beach, VA. Periodic travel (for up to 4 weeks) will be from Virginia Beach, VA to (but not limited to) Fort Knox, KY; Fort Chaffee, AR; Key West, FL; NAS Fallon, NV; Hawthorne Army Depot, NV; Walls, MS; Coronado, CA; Fort Pickett, VA; Fort A. P. Hill, VA; Louisville, KY. Estimated start date is not earlier than 1 April 2013. All candidates must have a minimum of an active Secret Security clearance.
Sniper Instructor shall be qualified NSW Sniper or equivalent with combat experience. Sniper Instructor assists with
logistical support during planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, and Troop movements with Trip Leader instructors. Sniper Instructor teaches current Sniper curriculum/ Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) during NSWG-2 Sniper Unit Level Training (ULT). Instruction includes classroom and field practical exercises.
Assaults Instructors shall be former U.S. Navy SEAL or applicable warfare specialty. Assaults Instructors provide Contractor administrative and instructional tasks that are assigned to the Assaults Division of NSWG-2 TRADET. In general, the task is to assist the Range Safety Officer (RSO) and/or provide operational/logistical support in Close Quarters Combat (CQC), and Special Operations in Urban Combat (SOUC). The individual shall also assist Trip Leader instructors in all aspects of training.
Maritime Operations (Marops) Instructor shall be former U.S. Navy SEAL, U.S. Navy Special Boat Team Member, or applicable warfare specialty, prior off-road driving experience, previous law enforcement employment, or military service in Special Operations Forces (SOF). Marops instructor shall have prior qualifications as Helicopter Rope Suspension Technique (HRST) Master, Dynamic and Static RSO, CQC RSO, Laser RSO, Demolition RSO. Support covers the administrative and instructional tasks allocated to the Contractor who is assigned to the Marops Division of NSWG-2 TRADET. In general, the task is to assist in the RSO instruction, operational and logistical support of Maritime, Combat Swimmer, Rotary Wing, Visit Board Search and Seize (VBSS), Gas/Oil Platform (GOPLT), and Over the Beach (OTB) operations. The Maritime Operations Instructor shall assist Trip Leader instructors in all aspects of training.
Tactical Ground Mobility Instructors shall be Former U.S. Navy SEAL or applicable warfare specialty, prior off-road driving experience, previous law enforcement employment, or military service in SOF. Support covers the administrative and instructional tasks allocated to the Contractor who is assigned to the Mobility Division of NSWG-2 TRADET. In general, the task is to assist as a RSO and assist in the instruction, operational and logistical support of Tactical Ground Mobility (TGM) Operations.
Combat Swimmer Diving Instructor shall be former U.S. Navy SEAL or applicable warfare specialty with combat swimmer or military diving operations experience. Prior qualifications as NSW Diving Supervisor, Navy Diver or Master Diver desired. Support covers the administrative and instructional tasks assigned to the Mobility Division of NSWG-2 TRADET. In general, the task is to assist in the instruction, operational and /logistical support of Combat Swimmer Operations.
Air Operations Instructor shall be qualified as a NSW HRST Master or comparable Special Operations Rotary Wing HRST Course of Instruction (COI). The Air Operations Instructor establishes long-term continuity of TRADET-2’s Air Operations and VBSS training. The Air Operations Instructor shall demonstrate the ability to organize, prepare, and present classes of instruction to support helicopter-borne operations, to include all NSW HRST systems.
Basic Skills Course (BSC) Instructor shall have previous qualification as NSW Static RSO and/or Military Small Arms Marksmanship Instructor (SAMI). The BSC Instructor assists training personnel with the execution of applicable curriculum, act as a RSO for training relating to the BSC COI, and provide administrative support as required.
