We are currently recruiting for an Emergency Response and Security Coordinator at Agrium CPO. Agrium Conda Phosphate Operations (CPO), located near Soda Springs, lies nestled among the beautiful mountains of southeastern Idaho and offers great hiking, camping, fishing, skiing, snowmobiling, hunting and golf. Agrium CPO employs approximately 280 employees.
This position ensures that the CPO facility is prepared for internal or external emergencies or disasters. Provides knowledge and interpretation of federal, state and local regulations, codes and requirements surrounding emergency planning, preparedness, and security. Provides training/education to staff on emergency management plans, processes, and procedures. Develops plans and coordinates training activities for the Emergency Response team. Works with staff to develop actionable security and emergency response plans, policies, and procedures to enhance site security and crisis preparedness.
Minimum Requirements include:
Three (3) years experience in Emergency Management and/or Emergency response
Basic knowledge of OSHA and NFPA standards and regulations
Experience or familiarity with HazMat, city resources, fire, and safety
Experience with planning, program development, program implementation, and professional presentations
Demonstrated solid understanding of Incident Command System, emergency planning, mitigation, preparedness, response and recover in regards to emergency planning
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree obtained through an accredited institution
Familiarity with the Department of Homeland Security codes and regulations
Bachelor’s degree in Emergency Management, Public Safety, or similar field. Or sufficient experience
Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite), SAP, etc.
Demonstrated ability to develop exercises to train and prepare staff for actual emergencies
Demonstrated ability to effectively train across a variety of disciplines
Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and team building skills
Demonstrated leadership skills in emergency response situations
Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a disaster environment
Ability to supervise individuals effectively and delegate effectively
Ability to coordinate and manage several projects and programs
Maintain and enhance EAPs, Security Plans, Vulnerability Assessments, and all associated regulatory reporting.
