FEMA Emergency Response Operations Manager

Job Description
In support of a possible government contract with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), KeyPoint Government Solutions is requesting submissions of interest from candidates for an Operations Manager position. This nationwide project will most likely be headquartered in the Washington, DC area, but the candidate may reside in Washington, D.C. or Loveland, CO.

*Please note that in order to account for the dual geographic locations for this position, this job posting is a duplicate of the FEMA Operations Manager opening in Loveland, CO. Candidates need only apply for one or the other in order to be considered.*

This program will manage a team responsible for supporting the FEMA efforts to provide assistance to homeowners affected by Presidential declared disasters and emergencies. This Housing Inspection Services (HIS) contract provides the resources necessary for FEMA to conduct residential damage inspections which serve as the basis for grant assistance to qualified disaster applicants.

Essential functions:
· Lead, manage and coordinate all aspects of field operations including inspection teams and registration intake agents deployed in response to FEMA issued Task Orders
· Maintain an accurate database of available inspectors, estimate response requirements for inspector personnel assignment and dispatch
· Coordinate directly with the FEMA Task Monitor and attend meetings as required

We are interested in hearing from professionals who match the following qualifications: Experience:
· Extensive past performance managing and directing a federal or large state emergency response services
· Candidates with FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) or Public Assistance (PA) Program experience will be given preference
Candidates selected for this position must pass a post-offer drug test

Education:
· Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, advanced degree preferred
· Extensive related experience may be substituted for a degree

Clearance/Citizenship:
· Candidates may be required to successfully obtain and maintain a government security clearance, which would require U.S. citizenship

Travel:
· Approximately 25% travel within the United States as necessary

Job Status:
· This will be a full-time employee role with KeyPoint

Job Location:
· We anticipate this position will be based in the Washington DC metro area, however candidates willing to reside in Loveland, CO area may be considered
