Description
Camber Corporation is seeking a Sr. Weapons Instructor to join our diverse, team-oriented company that is customer focused- employee driven. 5 years instructional knowledge
3 years instructing SOF Weapons (US and foreign), SOPMOD, and other SOF equipment to include:
- Carbines/rifles
- Grenade launchers
- Cannons
- Machine guns
- Submachine guns
- Pistols
- Shotguns
- Visual augmentation systems
- Electronic counter measure systems
Graduate of a Core Unique Instructor Training (CUIT) Course (Equivalent certifications may be considered). Do not possess and medical conditions which might limit ability to deliver training worldwide, under austere and/or primitive conditions (will be validated by medical screening). Must submit to and pass psychological screening to determine if suitable to be around weapons and combat situations. US DoD Top Secret clearance is required.

Desirable experience/certifications:
Foreign language fluency at level II based on Defense Language Institute criteria in one or more of the following: Arabic, Dari, Spanish, French, Portuguese.
Current certification in basic first aid as defined by the American Red Cross. Current certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) as defined by the American Red Cross.

Job Duties:
Support to SOF forces by provide instructional personnel with expert instructional knowledge and recent experience instructing SOF Weapons and SOPMOD equipment. Instructors should be graduates of an instructor training school. The instructor must possess expertise in combat applications in all SOF environments. The instructor must possess in-depth knowledge of night vision, lasers, weapons, and weapon sight technologies, capabilities and weaknesses. In-depth and actual operational knowledge and must include all three SOF and Marine Corps environmental applications including sniper. The instructor must possess in-depth knowledge of current industry technology as well as developing or future technologies and integration.
