Must have experience managing a division level or corporate level security program (Operational, Personnel and Physical) to include geographically distributed security personnel, security professional career paths and government customer and auditor relationships. Experience developing and executing strategic plan to achieve and maintain an exemplary world-class security organization. Some travel required. Must have highest ethical standards and integrity.
Candidate must have good communication and interpersonal skills and work well within a team. Candidate must demonstrate clear decision making capabilities to protect security as well as company interests.

Responsibilities:
The Security Director will be the Division level security lead for URS Federal Services (a $3B, 13,000 employee organization). The Director of Security will be the single point of accountability for a holistic, world-class security program that complies with all NISPOM and/or DCID requirements.
The Security Director will manage security professionals in the organization (large, distributed global organization) and ensure the highest level of ethics, integrity and performance. The Security Director will have responsibility for the full-range of security functions: Operational, Personnel and Physical security as well as manage internal audits and inspections, and interface with government security offices and inspectors. The position will be responsible for Division level processes, procedures and policies, as well as standards and methods for ensuring the highest level of compliance, protection and performance.
Director will identify security risks and develop high level risk mitigation strategies, as well as perform security project/program reviews to ensure continuous security improvement. Director will make recommendations for appropriate and required security measures, techniques and methods as well as return-on-investment analysis. Security Director will review all security related incidents and provide recommendations to preclude reoccurrence.
Physical security responsibilities include oversight of accredited work areas ensuring availability to conduct classified work, and associated processes and procedures to protect classified information. Will oversee completed and fixed/closed facility requirements to include facilities drawings of new or remodeled classified areas and manage oversight of work to ensure compliance with government regulations and requirements. Will interface with customers for security accreditation of facilities and use or co-use agreements. Will ensure disciplined management of Personnel Security processes to assist in obtaining individual security clearances/accesses and investigations.
Will develop and report security metrics and status to the FS President. Will lead internal security self-inspection and brief deficiencies, risk and corrective actions to FS management. Will manage development and coordinate conducting security awareness training and education program to educate, refresh, and motivate personnel to protect people, property and information. Will ensure management of Communication Security (COMSEC) duties and responsibilities (to include inventory, distribution and destruction).
Director will ensure each required contract has a stellar Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physical controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements. Will work with URS legal and contracts on Administrative Inquiries (e.g., collects and analyzes data, write reports and interviews) on personnel, processes and situations.
