Linxx Global Solutions, a fast growing Government contracting company, with corporate offices located in Virginia Beach, Virginia, is currently looking for experienced Harbor Security Officers to fill positions in Jacksonville, Florida.
Responsibilities
Provide armed security, safeguarding facilities, and conducting waterborne patrols.
Operate and maintain harbor patrol craft.
Operate 4-wheel drive vehicle and trailer.
Candidate Qualifications
U.S. citizenship
Possess valid driver’s license
Possess current Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Class D and G Security Officer licenses
Capable of successfully passing a USCG Boater’s Safety Course.
Capable of passing a physical fitness test, health exam, background investigation and initial and periodic drug tests
Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to successfully complete a swim test
Experience operating 20’ or larger vessel preferred
Experience operating communications systems
Minimum of 2 years of documented security or law enforcement experience
