Medical and Security Supervisor

Job Title: Medical and Security Supervisor

Job Summary/Requirements:
Bilingual French/English Medical and Security Supervisors to be deployed to a large scale mining exploration site in French spreaking Africa. 6 weeks on 6 weeks off roster.
·         To provide ongoing 24  /7  Medical, Security, Logistical services and assistance

·         To manage two camp clinics
·         To manage local Nurses and security staff
·         To implement Emergency Response Plans
·         To identify and implement medical and security procedures
·         To provide first aid training to employees and contractors
·         To provide weekly medical and security reports
·         To manage medical evacuations
·         To be responsible for the remote medical equipment and its ongoing resupply
Skills and qualifications required
·         French and English language essential
·         Remote security and medical experience
·         Tertiary Nurse/Paramedic degree (3 years of studies) essential
·         Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
·         Knowledge of African common diseases
·         Ability to work under pressure, meat deadlines and reporting procedures
·         Ability to work effectively and sensitively with various cultural contexts
