Security Manager

We are looking for an experienced Security Manager to join the attraction’s Management Team.

Requirements/Qualifications: 
The successful candidate will be able to manage unexpected operational incidences calmly, efficiently and professionally.
You will also be proactive with previous security experience ideally with experience in CCTV Systems and their legal requirements, Radio Communication Systems and Loss Prevention. This role
requires you to work closely and liaise effectively with the site team and as a team player, you will be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities: Managing a trained security team you will be responsible for managing all day to day aspects of the Security function to deliver a memorable visitor experience to our guests. Reporting to the Head of Engineering as our Security Manager you’ll ensure that the Attractions are guarded at all times. You will be responsible for arranging adequate cover on site to safeguard the Attractions 24hours a day.

The main duties of the role include:
• Ensure the safe guarding of the Attractions at all times managing a team of Security Staff.
• Assist with the delivery of all aspects of incident management for the site including specific regular training for the site management team.
• Assisting with the management of the Attraction Loss Strategy in order to protect against loss, as well as employee loss.
• Represent the attractions to Emergency Services and other external bodies in a professional manner. Ensuring, at all times, that the attractions meets pre agreed required standards.
• Assist with the management of the attraction uniform policy.
• Assist with managing the uniform distribution and collection process.
• Undertake attraction management roles when required, including support with Duty manager shifts as required.
• Ensure all Health and Safety departmental documentation, including Code of Safe Working Practices (CoSWP’s), Risk
Assessments, Control of Substances Hazardous to Health (CoSHH) assessments and Emergency Procedures Manual are regularly reviewed and updated in accordance with the Health and Safety Manager.
