Role Summary
The candidate will be responsible for the management of Security Defense and Investigations for Global Connected Consumer. Defines refinements and ensures integration of processes and procedures for Security Event and Incident Management. This individual will be required, in coordination with internal teams, to ensure proper of activities for identification, triage, investigation, and resolution for all security-based alerts and events within the global environment. Provides guidance and validation of technical monitoring through SIEM and SOC, including proper routing of work efforts in alignment with risk prioritization.

Key Responsibilities

- Acts as process owner for Security Event and Incident Management
- Maintaining analytics to provide awareness and visualization of current threat landscape
- Maintaining statistical data using a threat matrix used to drive tactical and strategic planning
- Coordination of threat intelligence information originating from internal and external sources, including multi-source monitoring tools
- Perform event monitoring, analysis, and investigation with internal and external teams
- In coordination with Problem and Incident Management teams, communicating and status tracking of investigations and resulting actions
- Development, management, and communication of metrics
- Responsible to create and provide reporting of security related efforts to immediate management
- Refinement and integration of technical and operational processes
- Handles a variety of recurring and non-recurring special assignments
- Responsible for executing actions to accomplish completion of the job and/or project
- Participates in the development and implementation of security process improvements
- Responsible for global enforcement of security policies, controls and standards

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in an Information Security role
- Bachelor's degree (technical discipline preferred) or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with security operations tools, such as: Stonesoft, Arbor, Splunk, Bluecoat Solera, etc.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Analytical & problem solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- People skills and team player
- High level of analytical ability
- Certified Information Security Systems Professional (CISSP) certification

Preferred Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent field/experience preferred
- Experience with Network Security or Forensics tools preferred
- Incident Management experience preferred
- ITIL Certification preferred
