Global Security Standards Manager

Responsibilities
  • Designs & implements standardized processes and Best Practices from inception to completion, including project scope, documentation, measurements, communication and implementation support to bridge the gap between Physical Security teams and Physical Security Standards.
  • Develop creative solutions that integrate, enhance and challenge current physical protection, staffing optimization, security routines and business model.
  • Provides key business partners with information and recommendations to assist in the development and implementation of Facebook security standards and design.
  • Conducts thorough evaluation of potential security risks relating to capabilities of protecting people in all location types. Develops risk mitigation programs that prevent and mitigate likelihood of security risks developing as a result of security standards and design.
  • Development of site-specific site vulnerability assessments, security audits, compliance assessments, security process audits and security workflows to complement Systems Security technology solutions.
  • Creates and implements measure data points to drive business intelligence for strategic business planning and decision making.
  • Researches and evaluates industry standards and benchmarks to support projects (as needed).
  • Acts as a liaison between Menlo Park and field Global Security and leadership teams.
  • Fosters strong cross pyramid partnerships and able to effectively prioritize workload demands to meet project deadlines
  • Develops sustainable Best Practices, Process Knowledge Documents and Standards intended for Global Security Leaders and Global Security teams within Facebook.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4+ years security programs and/or project management experience
  • Demonstrated project management skills that drive results
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in a cross-pyramid capacity
  • Significant knowledge of security standards & design, as well as security procedures
  • Demonstrated skills in driving cross-pyramid projects from inception to completion
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to travel as needed (roughly 25%)
  • Physical Security Program Management preferred
  • Security Standards & Design Expert preferred
  • Experience with the development of processes and procedures
