Job Summary
Cubic Applications, Inc. (CAI), a leader in the Defense Services industry, is looking for an experienced and
highly skilled OPFOR Instructor/Controller to join our professional team providing mission training services for a Mission Training Complex. The OPFOR Instructor supports the MTC to ensure the MTC has provided the condition required for Commanders to achieve their training objectives. Assists in OPFOR planning, preparation, and execution of OPFOR campaign plans and concepts of operations during simulation-driven exercises. Retrieves and analyzes data during the course of the exercise and prepares After Action Review products. Develop and implement specific programs for the pre-exercise training of gamers in OPFOR organization, tactics, techniques, and procedures.
 
Esssential Job Duties And Responsibilites
  • Establishes and maintains an EXCON able to manage and integrate all simulation and stimulation, control the event tempo, and regulate Higher Command (HICOM), Opposing Forces (OPFOR), and subordinate unit work/ response cells, in order to support the commander’s training objectives.
  • Provide, plan, and coordinate subordinate unit/OPFOR/GREEN work/ response cell operations that replicate and role play subordinate units, enemy forces, and neutral parties respectively in order to support the commander’s training objectives.
  • Creates AAR Plans for the Event participant audience, outlining data collection, analysis parameters, presentations, and final AAR report.
  • Responsible for content management on the Mission Training Complex Share Point portal
  • Has access to and regularly works with Government sensitive data
  • May be asked to represent the Government at meetings and conferences
Minimum Job Requirement
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 4 years’ experience in military training and training support or other national defense services.
  • Completed the Officer Basic Course, Advanced NCO Course, Battle Staff Course or Intermediate Level Education or equivalent level military schooling.
  • Experience in operations and training at Brigade or higher level operations
  • OIF, OEF, or OND deployment and intelligence operational experience desired.
  • 2 years’ experience in training management and the preparation of scenarios for joint and combined, simulation-driven exercises.
  • Experience with Army Mission Command and software systems.
  • Excellent organizational, writing, and communication skills.
  • Position requires close customer contact and the ability to work independently and creatively.
  • Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
