Access Control Officer

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States
Security Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI.
• Must be willing to undergo and pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph.
Educational and Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Level l experience requirements include: HSD/GED and 0-1 year.
 Required Experience:
The Compound Access Control Officer manages specified compound access points Monday-Friday during business hours for both vehicle and pedestrians including conducting vehicle, equipment, and bag checks. They also shall process and document non-vetted personnel.

• Manage access control of designated gate during Monday-Friday business hours (or other designated gate and hours provided on site) for both vehicle and pedestrians.
• Process and document non-vetted personnel.
• Conduct vehicle, equipment, and bag checks of all items prior to entering the Compound.

Additional duties may include:
• Conduct spot checks to ensure project escorts are performing.
• Conduct escort duties as required.
• Provide project escorts with a security awareness briefing.
• Experience performing security escort duties.
