Director Of Security

Employer : Morgans Hotel Group

Reporting to: Hotel Manager
Summary of Position: To ensure the security at
the Delano Hotel.

Primary Functions:
Master hotel's accessibility.
Control keys inventory.
Orient site inspections.

Specific Accountabilities:
Manage hotel' communications as beeper, cellular
and radio.
Place compliance into the Delano Hotel.
Establish safety committee.
Manage crisis management.
Report documentation to General Manager.
Report lost and found.
Claims management.
Perform other duties as requested.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
Previous experience in security for a minimum of
2 years, hospitality related preferred.
Knowledge of laws and regular issues.
Computer skills.
Trust worthy.
Good oral and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work standing for long periods,
some days is required 8 hours.
Must be able to speak and hear clearly to
communicate with guests and employees.
Must be able to pull and lift packages at least 60
pounds of force.
Must be able to move fast paced strides to
inspect hotel.
Must be able to reach and handle the computer,
keys, paper and packages.
Must have depth perception and balance, for
overall performance and be able to work with
computers.
Must have color vision to recognize and describe
persons and objects.
