Global Security Trainer , World Vision International

Employer : World Vision International

Required
Relevant experience in NGO Security Training,
Military or Police Instructional Techniques, or
Adult Education Programs, or related discipline; or
relevant work experience in the professional
security in the field of Humanitarian Relief.
Relevant undergraduate degree or relevant work
experience in the field of professional security.
Sound knowledge of the security (training,
education, risk management & program
implementation). Understanding of the Security
Risk Assessment process, security planning and
crises management in the humanitarian context.
Understanding of setting threat or risk levels for
specific contexts, considering the strategic and
tactical situation.
Excellent oral and written (English)
communication skills.
Solid interpersonal, negotiating and networking
skills.
Adult Learning Skills and Presentational Training
including organizational and problem solving
skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
At least 5 years experience in the field of security
(military, police or NGO/UN Security).
Competent in the use of Microsoft Office
computer programs including Word, Excel and
PowerPoint.
Must be willing and able to travel globally as
required (estimated 40-50%).
May need to work with other virtual teams of
different time zones.
Preferred
Work experience on a global and/or regional level.
At least 5 years work experience with diverse
team in a Non profit organizations.
Experience in liaising with all levels of
Government IO & NGO's.
