Job Description : The Environment Division of ARCADIS seeks UXO Technicians (I, II, & III), UXO Quality Control Specialists, UXO Safety Officers, and Senior UXO Supervisor (SUXOS) candidates for various project sites across the United States and US Territories.
Position descriptions:
UXO Tech I – Candidates will have completed a formal course of instruction through a certified civilian UXO program.
UXO Tech II – Candidates will have previous military EOD and/or commercial UXO experience in munitions response actions and range clearance activities plus 8 years of UXO work experience.
UXO Tech III – Candidates will have previous military EOD and/or commercial UXO experience in munitions response actions and range clearance activities plus 8 years of UXO work experience.
UXO Quality Control – Candidates will be responsible for the transportation, handling, and storage of munitions and commercial explosives. Must have military EOD certification and/or civilian UXO certification plus 12 years of progressively more responsible UXO experience.
UXO Safety Officer – Candidates will be responsible for on-site safety standards. Must have military EOD certification and/or civilian UXO certification plus 12 years of progressively more responsible UXO experience
UXOS – candidates will be responsible for supervisor on-site UXO staff. Must have military EOD certification and/or civilian UXO certification plus 12 years of progressively more responsible UXO experience
All qualified UXO candidates must have updated and current OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification, 8-hour refresher, and OSHA physical.
