Position Description / Summary of Duties:
DST seeks a Security Manager with exceptional written and oral communication skills, remarkable team building skills, and a clear understanding of how to manage multiple teams in a challenging environment.
The Security Manager will be expected to:
Provide expert security planning, design, and architecture services for software applications. They understand the FDIC infrastructure, topology and architecture(s) to leverage appropriate security defenses and appropriately position those defenses in the system
Comprehend enterprise security defenses and how to leverage them to increase security and efficiency, while reducing the application security attack surface. They are specifically responsible for identifying defense gaps non-explicit in project documentation. They work with business analysts to translate security architecture into security requirements solutions
Be knowledgeable about application security mechanisms, products, patterns, and best practices as well as threats, vulnerabilities, attacks, and anti-patterns.
Have substantive experience creating architectures and using the specific systems technologies
KSAs
5-7 years experience in information security/privacy risk management
Previous management experience
Leadership and motivation skills
Root cause & Gap analysis skills
Risk and Control Self Assessment skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and partner with all levels of personnel
Strong oral and written communication and presentations skills are required including experience at the Enterprise Risk Committee level.
Proven ability to network with industry related security and privacy groups
Education Required:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
CISSP/CISM/CISA/CRP/CRISC Desired
