Multi-Purpose Canine Trainer (USA Based)

Multi-Purpose Canine Trainer Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 5 years experience within the past 7 years in the training and handling of detection (narcotics and/or explosives) and standard patrol dogs.
Must have experience with the training and employment of tracking dogs.
Must be capable of training dogs from Green to finished in all aspects of detection and patrol/tracking.
Must be able to problem solve deficiencies in the K9 and be able to correct the areas of concern.
Must be able to prepare accurate written reports and communicate properly both verbally and in writing.
Must be self-starters and also be able to follow direction.
Must have strong leadership skills demonstrated by management positions in the K9 field.
Must be physically fit to conduct the training curriculum as well as exercise support.
Must be third party trained and be able to provide certifications.
Must be able to apply and be approved for a valid US Passport.
Must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
Desirable – Special Operations Background to include overseas mission work. Experience in Helicopter Rope and Suspension (fast rope/repelling) techniques.
