Responsibilities:
Security project management will include the development and installation of new perimeter gate, perimeter detection, visitor access system, case tracking system, electronic vehicle selection system, process barriers and gate arms, additional CCTV at gates, and traffic safety projects to protect critical infrastructure and people
Drive and coordinate compliance with forthcoming CTPAT regulatory program (create procedural guidance, and Motiva tactics, in Shell systems and drive coordination of logistical security (identification of foreign rail, marine, and highway shipments and security procedures (purchase of security seals/inspection of foreign cargoes) associated with foreign suppliers.
Security department investigation focal point will ensure proper tracking and disposition of all Security and traffic safety incidents.
Supervise a PG6 Motiva employee that is responsible for Traffic Safety improvement and technical IT improvements to ccure data base, and CCTV system.
Prepare forthcoming DHS CFAT Security Vulnerability Assessments.
Maintain CFATs, and CTPATs databases, policy and procedures.
Assist in Preparing for Audits and work to clear discrepancies to bring Motiva into compliance with Shell standards, CFATS, CTPATS, and the US Coast Guard’s Maritime Transportation Security Act.
Research and maintain documentation that identifies gaps and momentum toward compliance with Federal, State, and Shell Corporate Security standards.
Assist with maintaining and updating the Facility Security Plan.
Track approximately $2.7 million dollars in annual Security expenditures in Global SAP.
Provide technical advice and ensure that ongoing security projects integrate into and work with existing capital infrastructure.
Assist with maintaining and updating written Security Plans, Procedures, and Post Orders.
Assist in identifying security risks, take immediate corrective action, and report incidents to the proper authorities, including Management.
Complete all compliance activities on time (i.e.. mandatory training, hearing tests, medical evaluations, etc.).
Assist with design and execution of security drills and exercises.
Requirements:
Must have legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer.
High School diploma; Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree; Facility Security Officer certified preferred.
Minimum four (4) years of Professional Security, Law Enforcement, or Military background with supervisory experience (experience conducting security response, exercises, & training).
Proven experience with CCTV, networks, radio systems, intrusion detection systems and physical security devices.
Proven experience assessing risk and identifying Security vulnerabilities and ways to mitigate Safety and Security risk preferred.
Microsoft Certified preferred.
Proven experience with security regulation (CFATS, CTPATS, MTSA…) preferred.
