Physical Security Specialist

Overview:
WSI (www.wsihq.com), a premier provider of security protective force, fire, EMS, and facilities management services to government and private sector clients, has an immediate opening for a Physical Security Specialist for our contract in Portland, Oregon. Candidates selected will be subject to a Government Security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Background investigation and drug screening also conducted. EOE M/F/D/V
Responsibilities:
MAJOR DUTIES:
1. Implement site security procedures, checklists, process controls and practices.
2. Evaluate existing security practices and recommend appropriate action for continuous improvement.
3. Set up personnel circulation, control and entry systems, as required.
4. Present security briefings on annual security awareness training, Antiterrorism Level I training, OPSEC and information/physical security.
5. Provide advice and guidance on physical security policy interpretation and its application.
6. Physical demands include the ability to hike in remote areas carrying a minimum of equipment such as a small backpack with water, camera, rain gear and hand tools.
7. Work will include exposure to weather conditions typical of the Northwest United States.
Qualifications:
Qualifications include a minimum of 5 years experience performing physical security analytic duties. Candidates selected will be subject to a Government Security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Must be able to travel for training and other business needs. Background investigation and drug screening also conducted.
