Security Supervisor

Overview:
WSI (www.wsihq.com) a premier provider of security protective force, fire, EMS, and facilities management services to government and private sector clients, has an immediate opening for a Security Supervisor in Portland, Oregon. Candidates selected will be subject to a Government Security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Background investigation, drug screening and post employment physicals are conducted.

Responsibilities:
Successful candidate will manage personnel assuring that all posts are manned through implementation of a work schedule covering both opening and closing; coordinating and ensuring that all personnel are on time and back up personnel are on time and if required, ensure that back up personnel are available if needed. Responsible for officer training and proper management and maintenance of all security posts.
Qualifications:
Qualifications include:
• U.S. Citizen.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervision experience that employ a minimum of 25 people.
• Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of government regulations and the development of plans, policies, and procedures.
• Written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to communicate solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to function effectively in adverse situations.
