Position: Special Operations Forces Paramedic Instructor
Location: Fayetteville, NC

Job Description
Provide instruction in all the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Medical Skills courses offered by the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center (JSOMTC), US Army John F Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School, Fort Bragg NC.
Responsibilities:
Provide basic and advanced medical training to Special Operations personnel utilizing the current approved Programs of Instruction (POI) and lesson plans
Provide classroom instruction to include lectures, demonstrations and practical exercises
Develop and prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and program evaluations
Conduct exam reviews, proctor exams and provide developmental training for students who do not meet minimum course requirements
Assist in conducting and evaluating field training
Review course materials to ensure currency with current doctrine, policies and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs)
Assist in researching and updating existing training and doctrine
Qualifications
1 year experience as a Navy Independent Duty Corpsman; or an Army Special Forces Medic at a grade not less than Sergeant; or a Special Operations Combat Medic; or as an instructor in a USSOCOM medical pipeline course
Emergency Medical Technician Certification (Instructor Preferred)
Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (PEPP) Certification (Instructor Preferred)
Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or Basic Trauma Life Support (BRLS) Certification (Instructor Preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Instructor Preferred)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification (Instructor Preferred)
Proficient with MS Office
Able to read, write, speak and understand English
Secret Clearance
Desired Qualifications
DoD Instructor Training Course
Army Small Group Instructor Training Course
Systems Approach to Training or Instructional Systems Design Course
