Responsibilities:
• Serve as Assistant Facility Security Officer and act on FSO’s behalf in their absence.
• Ensure professional day-to-day control of classified documents, facility access, visitor controls, and security education training and awareness.
• Oversee all aspects of Salient’s enterprise wide Security Information Management Systems
• Manage the enterprise wide Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) program
• Responsible for answering questions regarding e-QIP; JPAS; SIMS and their functions
• Responsible for understanding and running standard and customized security reports
• Responsible for training new users
• Responsible for keeping all systems current and accurate (JPAS;SIMS;SharePoint; Access Control System)
• Ensure system availability for all users
• Conduct quality control audits that consist of updating records, electronic records and security files in different states for completeness
• Manage facility and personnel clearances
• Develop and implement enterprise security processes
• Provide operational and administrative security support to all Salient locations
• Prepare and submit monthly reports
• Ensures all security initiatives meet government requirements and Company policy
Requirements:
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Scheduler), E-mail, and database software
• Proficiency with JPAS, eQIP, ISFD and SIMS Software
• Ability to maintain U.S. Government security clearance eligibility
• Good oral and written communication skills
Desired Skills:
• FSO Certification through Defense Security Service
• Must be self-motivated and possess good judgment.
• Must have the ability to deal with all levels of customers and able to maintain strict confidentiality of and protect sensitive information.
Education/Training:
• College degree (or substituted work experience) with previous experience in security field
• STEPP/DSS course completions/certifications
