Security Specialist (Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism)

Salary: $68,643.00 to $106,955.00 / Per Year
Location: Mountain View, CA

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the 129th Rescue Wing) force protection security specialist for anti-terrorism and related physical and operations security policy and issues, handling of law enforcement sensitive information, managing assigned program areas, directing studies and reviewing, revising and implementing force protection policy and projects. The incumbent serves as the protection security specialist for anti-terrorism at the 129th Rescue Wing.The organizational
location of this position is in the 129 RQW, Wing Commander, Moffett Federal Airfield.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
GENERAL: Experience, education or training that has provided analytical, decision making, or administrative skills which demonstrates the candidates’ ability to accomplish the work of an organization. This experience must demonstrate the ability to work cooperatively and successfully with others.

Security Specialist (Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism) GS-0080-11: Must have 36 months of specialized experience in security specialties to include physical, personal and operational security; experience writing operating instructions and plans; experience planning, conducting, coordinating or directing the conducting of site studies, projects, assessments or surveys related to force protections and anti-terrorism; experience in implementation, oversight and control of a program at the Wing/Base/Installations level.
