Established in April 2006, TEMA strengthens Toyota's North American customer focus, through improved supplier cooperation, overall speed, flexibility and attention to quality. TEMA headquarters in Erlanger, KY, house the Toyota Operations Center and the Toyota Planning Center. The main offices for the Toyota Technical Center are in Ann Arbor, MI. This position is located in Erlanger, KY



Contract Security Operational oversight and Specialist support.

Regional Operational Management, Policy Implementation, and Standards Development

Regional Audit and Compliance Management for Security and Fire Services

Strategy Development/Deployment for Security and Fire 3-5 Yr. Vision

Regional Implementation of sustainable Security and Fire Systems

Motivates members to take action to improve capabilities.

Establishes clear deadlines and deliverables for the team.

Adjusts plan, methods used, work allocation, etc. to achieve team objectives.

Understands the importance of establishing and adhering to clear goals/targets.

Monitors the effectiveness of systems and processes, while continuously identifying gaps to resolve as the

business environment changes. Builds the systems and processes into daily operation.

Determines appropriate tasks and targets for members.

Develops members’ capabilities on TBP and technical skill through daily job.

Assists member understand in and importance of the section’s vision and mission and how to achieve it.

This position will have 3 direct reports

Regional Deployment of Security and Fire Systems/Programs for Daily Operations of TEMA/NAM Unit Plants

Management of $3-5M Capital Budget Annually

Services (i.e. National $20M Annual Spend for Contracted Contract for Security/Fire Services)

Compliance Audits for TEMA/NAMs

Vulnerability Assessments for TEMA/ NAMs

Budget Tracking and Management (Capital and Operating Budget >$25M Annual)

Security Camera (CCTV) Systems sustainment

Investigation and countermeasure of Security Breaches with NAMs

Risk Management Reporting and Countermeasure Activity Tracking

Access Control (Badge Management) System Standardization & Sustainment

Assist in the development of the mission and vision for Corporate Security and Fire Services across Toyota North America

Deploy Security and Fire Systems that strengthen Toyota’s Security across North America.

Promote ISF Advancement and collaboration strategies with TMS and NAMs






Qualifications
Required

Bachelor's degree (or higher) or equivalent professional experience in Security Management, Loss Prevention, Criminal Justice, Law, Police / Fire Science, or Safety

Project Management Experience

Supervisory Experience – Motivate, direct work, assign task

Experience as a technical expert in the area of Security and Fire Protection

Ability to work independently

Ability to assess current security & fire standards, conduct gap analysis and provide cross division/inter-company consultation

Experience setting strategic goals and development of plans to support long range planning for security and fire initiatives

Vendor Management / 3rd party experience

Security and systems integration experience



Asset

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Security Management, Loss Prevention, Criminal Justice, Law, Police / Fire Science, or Safety

Security Management (risk mgmt, business impact, principles of security officers) experience

Local and national knowledge in Laws / Statutes, and Fire Code and Ordinances

Background in Emergency Response

Lead and oversee overall regional deployment of security solutions & staff

Relationship building at all levels within the organization

Proficiency with written and oral communications

Experience with security and fire systems / program training

Proficiency with Microsoft Office
