The Security Manager is the primary source of security leadership, technical expertise, and assistance to location staff, employee, and management teams for both strategic and day-to-day security operations. The Security Professional's job stresses the need to effectively design, implement, and lead significant change initiatives to mitigate risk and protect assets (people, property, brands, and information). This person must be able to follow through with a cultural approach to security leadership continuously adapting procedures, policies, standards, and systems to accommodate business priorities. The Security Manager leads and applies sound security techniques utilizing surveys, access control equipment, closed circuit television design, physical security procedures, guard personnel, facility design, and capital improvements. As a primary member of the Real Estate .and. Facilities management team the Security Manager is a key decision maker through leadership and consulting on operational management of corporate security. This position reports to the Director of Real Estate .and. Facilities and functions as a backup to this position in the event that the Director is unavailable.

Major Duties: Operational Management: Initiates, designs, and leads plans to ensure efficient and cost-effective strategies for corporate wide security systems.
