Job Description
This Enterprise Operations leadership position supports the Corporate Security Executive Protection by leading a team of Executive Protection professionals and by assisting the Executive Protection Senior Manager in the planning, coordinating and providing security for senior Lockheed Martin Executives and special assignments. In addition, this role will be responsible for conducting investigations, workplace violence prevention and response, physical security, and for active shooter response.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Conducting investigations as required.
Leading the EO workplace violence prevention and response activities including training and budget management.
Leading the active shooter response.
Providing on call service beyond normal working hours in managing and providing protection and transportation of senior executives and visitors to and from Lockheed Martin facilities, meetings and special events.
Performing advance trip planning/coordination with law enforcement agencies and other groups for executive visits for both domestic and international travel.
May be required to use the appropriate use of force to include arms to carry out of the mission and requires special police commission to include applicable weapons permits.
Performing emergency medical response assistance as required.
Basic Qualifications Prior investigations experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of the Washington, DC metro area.
Proven tactical driving and navigational capabilities.
Knowledge and experience in law enforcement procedures and processes.
At least five years executive protection or law enforcement experience to include tactical driving experience.
Possess or have the ability to possess Maryland and VA Special Police Commission and concealed weapon permits
Demonstrated ability to meet physical requirements for potential protective actions
Proven ability to embrace and demonstrate Full Spectrum Leadership behaviors
Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Security clearance
Desired skills First Aid/AED/CPR certified.
