About the Opportunity
DMI is currently seeking to hire a Security Manager to support a 24x7x365 service desk for a Federal Government customer in the DC metro area.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Security Manager is responsible for the implementation of the Information Security Policy, (ISP) along with identifying potential risk, vulnerabilities and evaluating the effectiveness of security measures currently in place. The Security Manager is also responsible for the implementation of Management, Operational and Technical security controls to ensure the Confidentially, Integrity and Availability of IT services and data. The Security Manager coordinates with multiple groups to analyze and investigate IT Security problems and issues that are unique to the enterprise desktop.
The following Security Manager experience and/or knowledge is desirable:
Knowledge and experience with Federal Mandates and Information Security standards including but not limited to user access controls, auditing, common operating systems and domain structures such as (Active Directory) for desktop system and associated vulnerabilities
Ability to plan, direct, and manage complex IT security access controls for major security projects
Management and supervision experience of various skill set levels for support personnel;
Technical writing capability and ability to provide briefings to senior Government officials
Knowledgeable of ITIL framework and up-to-date on current and emerging security principles and practices
Information Systems Security Officer, (ISSO) and Information Assurance, (IA) training and experience (preferred)
Security+, CISSP and PMP Certified or equivalent (preferred)
Security Clearance: Top Secret
