Security Specialist

Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Security Specialist shall have a minimum of three (3) years experience in the Special Access Programs security administration. Information Management & Document Control Information Management & Document Control

Develop and implement program security guidance for CONUS and deployed forces, including personnel, information, physical, systems and mission security.

Develop, maintain and administer recurring security training. Ensure that the guidance for training is effective, ensuring compliance through periodic self inspections and staff assistance visit reviews.

Manage OPSEC program, maintaining vital OPSEC plans and validating administered training.

Assist document coordination between operational units, operations groups, space wings, 14th AF, AFSPC and the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force.

Establish and maintain document control operations ensuring an approved accountability system is in place and in compliance with JAFAN 6/0.

Maintain reference library including SAP instructions, security classification guides and threat advisories.

Manage facility accreditation including physical requirements, information systems and mission systems for local and remote locations.

Manage FN77 billets to fulfill multiple 72-hour deployment requirements. Assist personnel movement in, out and within SAP channels, to include indoctrination, debrief and visit requests. 

Qualifications 
Requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (prefer courses in government security) and zero to two years of related experience. 
Ability to obtain a security clearance.
