Position Summary:
Assist Government SERE Manager, supporting training in basic, high-risk resistance techniques and procedures enabling a greater chance of recovery.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist Government SERE Manager, supporting training in basic, high-risk resistance techniques and procedures enabling a greater chance of recovery
- Support subordinate unit level Marine Radar Regiment training (MRR) and sustainment for directed Special Activities Training (SAT), to include: pre-deployment site surveys, scenario scripting, implementation, and evaluation of individual and collective implied, specified, essential, and critical tasks associated with the various training packages.
- Support the planning and coordination of culmination exercises and training missions.
- Conduct mission coordination, planning, target support and scenario development for collective training events.
- Develop offset intelligence products.
- Support training area selection and target development based upon current operations.
- Develop and Supervise exercise/training implementation, evaluation and after action reviews associated with each training package.
- Participate in quarterly meetings with the respective unit’s Operations Officer and Training Officer, or at the MRR level.


Required Qualifications:
- Current Secret Clearance
- Typically requires bachelor’s degree and two to four years of related experience
- Knowledgeable of Advanced Special Operations Techniques (ASOT), Personnel Recovery (PR), Technical Surveillance Operations (TSO), and other emerging technical or tactical skill sets
- Experience in full spectrum of PR and SERE operations with knowledge and understanding of Unconventional Assisted Recovery (UAR) Operations and Non-Conventional Assisted Recovery (NAR) Operations
- Experience providing Peacetime Government Detention/ Hostage Detention training and Full Spectrum SERE training from a Joint Personnel Recovery Agency-approved POI as well as validating new PGD/HD requirements and modifying the POI per JPRA standards
- Subject matter expertise in all aspects of Special Activities (SA), doctrine, training, and scenario development at the MRR
- Knowledgeable in developing, coordinating, and executing all PR plans and other operational matters as required.
- Knowledgeable in interfacing with JPRA and sister service SERE agencies when required.

Physical Demands:
- This position requires standing, walking, running, jumping from heights, heavy lifting, bending and carrying supplies and equipment. Candidate must be able to operate in fully body armor and helmets. Work performed inside a classroom and outdoors, regardless of weather conditions and may expose the employee to inclement weather.
