Armed Security Officer

Alutiiq Diversified Services, LLC, is currently recruiting for Protective Security Officers, to support a Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Services contract.

The role of the Security Officer includes but is not limited to a variety of security related duties.
Officers must be familiar with "Post Orders" which outline responsibilities such as Entrance/Exit posts
Roving Posts
Control, Issuance and Storage of Keys
Security and Fire Systems
Building Rules and Regulations
Unauthorized Access
Response to Injury/Illnesses; and other additional duties as required by contract

QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants selected will be subject to a background/security investigation and must be drug free and remain drug free during period of employment.
Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this position requires U.S. Citizenship status
COR may approve Lawful Permanent Residents who are currently members of the US armed services or who possess an Honorable Discharge from a US military component
Possess a Social Security Card issued and approved by the Social Security Administration.
Possess and provide proof of at a minimum, either a HS diploma or GED equivalency certificate or a higher degree
Meet one of the following experience/education requirements for Security Officer positions:
Three (3) years security experience within past five (5) years, or
An Associate’s degree, or at least 60 semester hours college credit in any field of study, or
Three (3) years military or National Guard experience, (active or reserve) or
Successful completion of Police Officer Standard Training (POST) course, or
Any reasonable combination of the above
Speak English fluently, read and comprehend written English, and compose coherent written reports in English
Meet and/or exceed medical/physical requirements
Obtain/maintain Government approval
