POSITION SUMMARY:
Serves as a LEAD Small Arms/ Artillery Repairer; Perform field and sustainment maintenance on small arms, infantry weapons and towed artillery;Responsible for the direct and general support maintenance; include the M240 series, M320, MK 19, M9, M249, M500, CROW, M4, M16, Remote Weapons Station (RWS), M777A2 Howitzer, and 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm Mortars; responsible for the Clean, Inspect, Service, Repair, Disposition, Evacuation and Movement of all Weapons in support of APS5 & DTS.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
The duties under this job title are to LEAD a 10 Person team that performs field and sustainment maintenance on small arms, infantry weapons and towed artillery.
Responsible for the direct and general support maintenance; include the M240 series, M320, MK 19, M9, M249, M500, CROW, M4, M16, Remote Weapons Station (RWS), M777A2 Howitzer, and 60mm, 81mm, and 120mm Mortars.
Responsible for the Clean, Inspect, Service, Repair, Disposition, Evacuation and Movement of all Weapons in support of APS5 & DTS.
Performs other duties as required.

MATERIAL & EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED:
Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Work is generally conducted in a shop environment; however, duties may involve the conduct of work in the out-of-doors area
With a potential exposure to extreme climatic conditions.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:
Work will require lifting up to 50 lbs, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical or biological agents. Employee use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required in certain areas. Such PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices. Must comply with OSHA, EPA, Fire Regulations and published company work rules.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certifications: One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.

High School graduate or equivalent.

Experience:

5 years of experience in, Logistics & Maintenance, and a working knowledge of the Armament Depot; will be required to do MWO’s as required. Experience with DOD and customer support; Knowledge of the Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS); Knowledge of Army STAMIS Systems, AWRDS, SAMS-E; Experience with Maintenance Management Programs; Excellent communication skills; Working Knowledge of MMIS, FAAST, and Microsoft Office .

Skills:

Excellent computer, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
