Overview:
The Executive Director, Security directs enterprise-wide security activities through subordinate managers. This includes company employees and assets for all Aerojet locations and businesses. The Executive Director, Security develops, implements and monitors security policies, procedures and programs; and ensures compliance with Local, State, Federal and legal regulations.
Essential Job Functions (Including % of Time for Each):
Provides leadership and top level direction to all areas of security services.Determines organizational objectives, interprets Aerojet policy and delegates assignments to subordinate managers or supervisors.
Establishes organizational policies and interprets, executes and recommends modifications to Aerojet policies.

Provides management oversight to develop threat information and appropriate countermeasures.

Identified resource demaned, obtains resources and has overall responsibility for scheduling and cost control

Leads the development of and reviews overall budget schedules and performance standards.

Establishes overall Security strategies, short and long range plans in alignment with Aerojet’s strategic business plan.

Fosters ethical conduct, practices and personal integrity throughout Aerojet to ensure Aerojet’s ability to attract and retain customers in a highly competitive environment.

Represents the organization as prime internal and customer contact on all matters related to Security

Conducts briefings and project review meetings for top management and customer representatives.

Interacts with intra-organizational managers concerning matters of significance to Aerojet.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline and at least fourteen (14) years of progressively responsible experience in the Corporate Security field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with Homeland Security requirements, ATF, FBI, Cybersecurity, establishment of secured facilities and management of multi-location Security teams. This position requires ability to direct and control overall organizational resources, and demonstrated managerial level leadership. Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level (U.S. Citizenship required).
