Security Specialist

Location: Montgomery, Alabama
InuTeq, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Security Specialist to provide physical security support on site at our government customer location in Montgomery, AL
Key Role: Physical Security: Provide full time physical security for DISA Montgomery. Perform entry control functions for the facilities. Conduct Random Access Measures as required. Monitor and operate
CCTV and operate facility intrusion detection systems and security access control system. Personnel Security: Validate security clearance of visitors and permanent staff personnel. Screen visitors for proper security clearance and documentation and process site visit requests. In process and Out-process personnel. Schedule security training for staff. Validate Information Technology (IT) level access for computer access. Submit visit requests for DECC Montgomery personnel to visit other sites. Issue picture identification badges to authorized personnel. Information Security: Safeguard, handle, transmit, and destroy classified information and unclassified controlled information. Inspect and maintain compliance of GSA approved containers

Position hours are Monday through Friday during normal operations and as required so flexibility in work schedules will be needed to ensure coverage at the site.

Basic Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship and the ability to pass a government clearance process to the Secret level required.
2 plus years demonstrated physical security related experience such as prior military or civilian law enforcement
HS Diploma or equivalent

Additional Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance preferred
Willingness to work flexible hours as needs arise to ensure coverage
