Vice President of Corporate Security

Description
The Vice President, Corporate Security manages security programs for a variety of customers across all segments of the Federal Government. Additionally this role is responsible for the protection of USIS employees, and property. He/she develops, implements and maintains security procedures to meet required codes, regulations and the needs of the Company. The VP, Corporate Security also plays a lead role in the implementation and management of USIS emergency preparedness system and emergency operations plans.

· Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Leads the continuing development of security initiatives for USIS;
· Initiate and maintain a positive working relationship with senior security officials of the US Government;
· Oversee the implementation and management of contractually required security elements and deliverables;
· Directs security activities such as protecting the facilities, employees, and visitors from incidents of violence, theft, or criminal activity;
· Establishes and maintains security processes and procedures for USIS;
· Conducts security audits on a regular basis to ensure effective and efficient security operations;
· Conducts internal security investigations;
· Manages all access and badge issues (including access and badge activations and deactivations);
· Receives all internal security/incident reports and handles situations as appropriate;
· Work in support of Operations to facilitate timely security clearance processing for federal investigative processing;
· Manage Security Education and Training requirements;
· Provide oversight of Integrity Audit function for Operations;
· Provide oversight and management of US Government credentials;
· Works closely with other USIS departments, such as HR, IT, and Legal, to address security issues.

Qualifications
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree; Graduate degree preferred
· 10 years related minimum experience in corporate security
· Must have demonstrated knowledge of corporate security processes and procedures
· Experience working in a corporate office environment
· Experience handling corporate security for multiple facilities
· Law enforcement background a plus
· Must have strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Must be able to travel
