Seeking a Training Instructor for FPS West Texas/ El Paso *position contingent upon contract award*

The Training Instructor serves as is responsible for teaching a broad range of instructional topics within assigned subject matter area. This position provides the required Security Officer training as indicated in the contract. The Instructor is responsible for preparing and managing course material for assigned blocks of instruction, distributing training materials and aids as needed, and conducting classroom and real-world instruction.

Applicants must meet the minimum requirements listed below.
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be able to pass a comprehensive pre-employment physical
Minimum of two (2) years of successful experience in training experience (civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security force service)
Possess the appropriate certifications to perform First Aid, CPR, AED and firearms instructions. Instructors for First Aid, CPR and AED Training Instructors must have a certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
Be familiar with X-Ray Magnetometer guidelines in regards to NWDTP
