Job Description
As the Manager – Global Security you will be responsible for the development and implementation of our global supply chain security strategies and ongoing program development and maintenance of key security initiatives already in place, which focus on reducing risk exposure. You will play a key instrumental role in strengthening our global supply chain network by engaging in risk mitigation strategies that protect people, business operations, and company assets. The chosen candidate will identify, assess and prioritize efforts to mitigate and manage risk, while continually adapting our security posture according to the changing security and operational environment of our business.
Additional responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Global Risk - continually maintain our global risk assessment efforts specific to our supply chain; which identifies risk to people, inventory and assets. Implement and execute an effective mitigation strategy based on severity and likelihood; contingent on resource availability.
Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) – play a key role within the organization specific to continuing to assist in maintaining compliance and increase awareness to key individuals in the organization, thus reducing Ace’s risk exposure.
Customs Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) – play a key role within the organization in maintaining Ace’s coveted Tier III status.
Work with our Import and Merchandising teams in continually promoting adherence to DHS / Customs standards specific to this voluntary joint partnership.
International Travel Safety – work with select departments in the organization and outside vendor partners to ensure that global travelers have the information they need to make good security and safety travel decisions while representing Ace across the globe.
Maintain active involvement with both OSAC and DSAC.
Corporate Support & Investigations – you will assist and support the corporate loss prevention team, as assigned.
This position serves as an integral leader that fosters engagement with our business partners by enhancing our coordination internally and externally to ensure that security has equal consideration in the overall assessment of risk to all assets; promoting end-to-end supply chain security efforts throughout the network.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree
• 5 – 10 years of leadership experience including project management and business planning.
• Relevant experience working collaboratively within security, import transportation and supply chain both internationally and domestically.
• Experience in program development / management of two specific programs; Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and Customs Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT).
• Investigations experience in a corporate environment.
• Experience in Brand Protection risk analysis and program development helpful.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with an emphasis in collaboration and strategy.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and influence broadly.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external business partners and form cohesive plans and processes across business groups.
• 40 - 50% travel anticipated.
